After a remarkably parallel upbringing to the West Coast Caribou chapter members and a stint in the military, I relocated from Virginia to Northern California in 1971. In 1972 I hired Paul Ebert
and Kane Healy to fix my purple VW van. They then hired me as a
mechanic and it's been downhill ever since. Suffice it to say, tales
of Northern California caribou herds' escapades are legend and endless.
